MIXCONSCIENCE: Have you ever thought about that?

Every 15 seconds this amount of garbage is put into the Ocean. And although Switzerland has no salty water, the sea's garbage is right there, until 23rd September, at Zurich Museum of Design. The interesting exhibition is called The Plastic Garbage Project and warns about the sea's situation nowadays. The project presents collected plastic garbage from all the world's seas and shows details of this ecological catastrophe. To bring the awareness that there's not a single square kilometer of seawater free of not biodegradable plastic particles is a mission of this beautiful project. Whoever takes part can also understand that not only the pollution caused to the animals and water is the biggest problem, but also the food chain (fed by the broken and smaller pieces of plastic) that ends up in our plates.
The garbage costs for all of us a lot, but the entrance to this exhibition is free.
