MIXBABYCULTI
is almost a little man!
They say that everything that is good doesn’t last, but I must confess that my "maternity leave" in Mixculti lasted even too long. During my pregnancy I was lucky that I hardly had morning sickness, was hardly tired and lethargic. I was complete, in love with my little angel in the belly, so I just wanted to enjoy every moment. In fact, being pregnant in the Bahamas was wonderful! Laziness was the only thing that got to me...
On the 3rd of May of this year, I experienced the most fascinating and strongest feeling,
the love purest and
true that makes the whole world go round. Cauan Daniel came into the world, a healthy baby,
giving us a lot of work and bringing
much happiness to our home.
Like a prince, looking heartthrob and Brazilian
Tupi Indian name, my boy came as a true mix, well, actually
a baby mixculti;) ... Son of a Brazilian
mother, Swiss father and born
in Nassau, Bahamas, but without Bahamian nationality - and how can this be?
Yes, babies born
children of foreigners in the country
are only entitled nationality at age 18
if they wish to reside in the islands. Patriots the Bahamians, aren't they? But okay, so
are we. Besides two passports
are more than enough ...
Well, to complete my happy return
message to Mixculti, for those
who were curious, Cauan means hawk, warrior, someone
very creative and with a lot of strength to live. But that's what is said
in general. Of course I will not fail to express here my Proud Mommy
side: MY Cauan Daniel is very cute, handsome and yummy, he is a calm baby, a great son (sleeps
through the night), a wonderful companion – go’s with Mom everywhere - and
best gift that God could give me.
Today after three months,
my little bundle of joy continues to be a fan of breast milk, enjoys the beach like a
fish, gives out charming smiles
wherever he goes. Full of charm and
with lots of hair from birth - has even had his first cut with his multimommy coiffeur - Cauan is almost
a little man. Doesn’t like to stay out of anything,
rather, likes to be a part of it all.
Loves animals, nursery rhymes, cardio and stretching exercises that use a lot of energy. Like every “modern” child enjoys skype. Favorite genre: drama, can cry and smile
at the same time ... In his spare time, loves to go out, take a good nap and twirl
around the room, even to end up under
the couch to have someone to "save" him.
And so, Mommy and babyculti go into the mixroutine and
enjoying life. Happily ever after.
Happy during the pregnacy and forever... For portuguese version: http://mixculti.blogspot.com/2013/08/fim-de-licenca-maternidade-mixbabyculti.html |
